A barbershop is a local thing.
Almost everyone who comes through our door lives within a mile of it. So every so often we put something on that has nothing to do with haircuts - and this is where the pictures end up.
Two years running
Toys at Christmas
We have done this two Christmases running now, for the local kids.
Last year it was four big presents, given away on a draw - entries open from the 10th to the 23rd, and the winners announced on Christmas morning. Santa spent the day in the shop, and families came in for photographs whether they had entered or not.
It costs the shop very little and it means a lot to the families who win. That is the whole reason for it.
